If you cannot get your new password to work, please view the 'Password Reset Detailed Instructions' document below this box. Most users have a problem by entering the 'reset password' or the 'new password' in the wrong password field. The 'Password Reset' document below this box explains how to perform this function in further detail. Otherwise, you can follow these instructions.
Click on 'Reset Mainframe Password' and you will receive a message telling you what your password has been reset to. When you login again, you will enter the password in the 'Password' field. Do NOT enter the password in the 'New Password' field. Next, you will be prompted to enter a new password. Enter the new password in the 'New Password' field and press enter. You will be prompted once again to enter the new password for confirmation so TAB to the 'New Password' field and enter it again and press enter. You should get the message, 'SignOn is Complete. Press Enter to Continue'.
If you get the message 'Password is Invalid' you are using a password that has been used in past 90 days and you need to enter a new password again, twice, and make sure it is a password you haven't used in the past 90 days. You will enter the password into the 'New Password' field 2 times to confirm. Just press enter each time after you enter the new password in the 'New Password' field. Now, you should get the message, 'SignOn is Complete. Press Enter to Continue'.
